Welcome to Killington Attractions
The Killington area
offers a variety of attractions for anyone of any age. What trip to Vermont
would be complete without a trip to the New England Maple Museum? Watch
over two centuries of history in the making and don’t forget to stop on
your way out for some of those mouth-watering maple treats. How would you
like an up close view of a tribute to a man who's creations take us to a
peaceful relaxing "small town" America? Go to another place and time as
you view the nationally recognized collection of Norman Rockwell art that
commemorates his Vermont years and spans the diversity of his career. Is
there any way you could leave Killington without getting a bird's eye view
of the scenic panorama created by the mountainous landscape? Hop in and
ride the chairlift up toward the skies to the top of the alpine slides and
witness the breath taking scenery below.
New
England Maple Museum and Gift Shop
The New England Maple Museum offers a trip through over 200 years of maple
sugaring history starting with the Native American discovery that maple
sap cooked over an open fire produces a sweet syrup. Today, the sweet
aroma of sap permeating the the air, still harkens the arrival of Spring
in Vermont. And a tour of the New England Maple Museum brings it all to
life.
Norman Rockwell
Museum
Our nationally recognized collection of Norman Rockwell's art, established
in 1976, commemorates his Vermont years and the entire span and diversity
of his career (1911-1978). Chronological display of more than 2,500 magazine
covers, advertisements, calendars, and other published works shows Rockwell's
development as an illustrator and links his work to the political, economic,
and cultural history of the United States.

Pico Alpine Slide
Ride
the chairlift to the top of the alpine slides, jump into your cart and
go. If you'd like to take it slow and enjoy the mountain views, you can
keep the handbrake engaged and your speed to a minimum. But if you're
more concerned with velocity than views, you can open it up and grab serious
thrills - plunge 650 vertical feet to the valley floor and are packed with
S-turns, banks and straight-aways. And if you'd rather walk than fly,
feel free to ride the lift to the top and take a leisurely stroll around
one of Vermont's highest peaks.
